I'm feeling Old...

I officially feel old. And by old, I mean, older than my little sister. Sis (24) is 5 years younger than I. But everyone ALWAYS assumes she's the oldest. She acts older, looks older (which I used to hate but now sort of LOVE), and is years more mature than I am in my life NOW (at 29). For example, I have always enjoyed going out, drinking too much, and staying out way too late. Sis has been more of a "let's go to a place near the house have 2 drinks and head home" kind of girl. But not these last few weekends.

Over my bday, I wanted to head out downtown, you know, do it up right. Sis and her man wanted to meet us down there cause she always wants to leave before I'm ready, anyway, sis was the first to arrive! She was standing at the bar WAITING for me to get there! We get a drink while we wait for all our other friends and by 12, we've danced, taken pics, drank more, told stories, and I was ready to head out....not sissy though. She ended up staying til 130 or so.

Same scenario over this last weekend. The only difference I rode with her because I didn't want to stay out all late. Bad decision. At 10 I ask if she's ready to head out. She asks if we can hit another bar. I say sure, just pleased that she has started coming out. Then at 11 I ask if we can head home. She says sure....but, somehow we ended up bowling, and then going to eat at our favorite restaurant. Home at 2! 2!

Sissy is officially younger than me and I feel Old. Very Very Old.

I'm 2.5 years older than my sister and everyone always mistakes her for the oldest (although I don't mind!) We don't really go out much b/c we live in different cities, but are planning a trip to Vegas, so I'm sure I'll get a chance to see what a "party animal" she is ;) Although I'm 28 and going out has kind of lost its lustor, I still enjoy a good night out on the town every once in awhile!
