The Superbowl is Over...

I'm so happy the Superbowl is over. For different reasons than you think. First, I actually like football. I tune in every week to watch the KC Chiefs embarrass themselves yet again. And for all you non-football watching readers; the Chiefs currently have no Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, or Head Coach....so the coming year should be interesting to say the least.

The point of this post is Kurt Warner. Quarterback for the Cardinals. If I have to hear one more human interest story on K-Dub I'm going to scream; I'm sick to death of this guy. We all know the story: he used to bag groceries. The Rams took a chance on the unknown from the Area League. He got paid the league minimum and won a Superbowl. He lives a "Purpose Driven Life" and he promised his fifteen (that might be a little exaggeration) kids a dog if the Cards win the Superbowl....SERIOUSLY? Stop the presses! A dog? Who do you think you are? President Obama? And now that Warner lost the Superbowl, is he going to tell his 1,000 kids they can't have a dog. "Kids, I love you. But daddy is a loser and since I lost the big game; no dog for you." (that was a little play on Sinfeld for you) Hopefully now that the big game is over we can stop freaking talking about his life?

What everyone should be talking about is the real story behind every one's comeback kid...Brenda Warner. In her years as a QB wife she has undergone severe scrutiny about being the boss of her husbands career. Demanding trades and pay raises on radio stations. Leaving her husband to grovel for his own job in a city that hated him because of his own wife. Oh, the times are a changing.

At first glance I thought Kurt had traded his similar hair styled outspoken wife in for a younger more feminine model. But no, turns out he has transformed her into the perfect stepford NFL QB wife. Same couple, same pose, totally different look.

That's just crazy how different she looks. She does look like his mother in the first one.
